Being a 5-for-5 Church in the United Church of Christ means that our church is a leader, providing support to Our Church's Wider Mission and the Special Mission Offerings throughout the year. In March, our Lenten mission is One Great Hour of Sharing- Be the Light. The funds raised from this mission supports the disaster, refugee, and development ministries of the United Church of Christ within Love of Neighbor.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.     — 1 Cor. 13:13

On 3/16 during worship service, Reverend Marlayna will show a brief video about this mission. On 3/23 and 3/30 special collection envelopes will be available to accept donations.

Rev. Marlayna’s Lenten Sermon Series started March 9th and has spoken to the theme of prayer, based on a book by Rev. Mark Batterson entitled “The Circle Maker: Praying Circles Around Your Biggest Dreams and Greatest Fears." Below is a link in case you want to buy a book and read more in depth about the theme.
